Description
Grampians Grenache, something unusual and one of the only plantings in the region. Vines were planted at our request at the Dakis Vineyard, a lower elevation, warmer site on a gentle northeasterly facing slope just south of Great Western. A cool year, but achieved excellent ripeness. fermented wild will whole berries, matured in 1000le oak vats and 500lt puncheons, all older oak. Delicious red fruits, red liquorice and some pepper on a medium bodied frame.
